Getting started with artificial intelligence

This is the training we can deliver to your teams, in 4 hours, 8 hours or 3 days. We work from your real tasks, and there's no code at all.

A team around a table, facing a screen, during a training session.

Who it's for

Employees, freelancers, business owners: anyone opening an AI tool for the first time, or already using one without a method.

The only prerequisite is being able to send an email and browse the web. Everyone brings a real task from their week.

The six modules

The 3-day format covers all six modules, two a day. For 4 or 8 hours, we pick the modules together on the call. Either way, half the time is hands-on, on your own files.

    Understand what AI does

    Goal

Know what AI does well, where it gets things wrong, and which tool to open.

    • AI predicts the next part of a text, so it writes, summarises and sorts very fast.
    • It can also invent a figure or a quote, with the same confidence.
    • The main tools side by side: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Le Chat, Copilot.
    • How to choose: the tool your company already has, the language, and where your data goes.

Exercise: Ask two tools the same work question. Note three differences, and keep the one that works best for you.

  2. 02 · 4 h

    Ask the right way

    Goal

Get a usable first draft on the first try, or close to it.

    • A good request, the prompt, says six things: who is speaking, the context, the task, the format, the limits, and an example of the result you want.
    • If the answer is off, you fix what's missing, what's too long, or the tone.
    • You leave with five ready-to-use prompts for your job: email, meeting notes, summary, follow-up, meeting prep.

Exercise: Take a task you did this week and turn it into a prompt. Test it, correct it once, file it.

  3. 03 · 3 h

    Check before you send

    Goal

Never send anything you haven't checked, text or image.

    • Break the answer down and check each fact, one by one.
    • Ask the AI what it isn't sure about, then compare with the original document.
    • Read a generated text the way you'd read a rushed intern's draft.
    • Make a simple visual, with a readable caption and alt text.

Exercise: Produce a text, find three errors or vague points, then fix it until it's ready to send.

Your data, GDPR and the EU AI Act

    Goal

Know what you can hand to AI, and write your own rules.

    • What never goes into a consumer account: health data, ID documents, passwords, customer files with names.
    • A decision that affects a person (a refusal, a grade, a dismissal) is never left to AI alone.
    • Since February 2025, the EU AI Act requires any company using an AI system to train its teams. This course meets that requirement.
    • What's banned: social scoring, manipulation, emotion recognition at work, scraping faces online.

Exercise: Write your team's charter, one page and ten rules at most: what gets pasted, what doesn't, who reviews, how you tell the client.

    Build your assistant

    Goal

Pick three useful uses, and build an assistant for one of them.

    • Your tasks fall into three groups: repetitive, judgement, relationship.
    • AI drafts the first group. It prepares the other two, but you sign them off.
    • You build an assistant for one case: its instructions, the documents it may read, what it doesn't do.
    • You also see an AI agent at work, and what you never connect to it: the whole inbox, the customer database, payments.

Exercise: Run your assistant on a real document, anonymised according to your charter.

    Your 30-day plan

    Goal

Leave with a concrete plan, and a way to check that it works.

    • Three uses, an owner for each, the allowed data, and when to stop if quality drops.
    • Three simple indicators: time spent, manual corrections, errors avoided.
    • To keep up: one source, thirty minutes a month.

Exercise: Each person presents their plan. The group looks for the gap: sensitive data, someone not told, a task that shouldn't be delegated.

Assessment: attendance at the exercises, charter and plan handed in, and a short quiz on forbidden data and the training requirement.

What each participant takes away

  • Your prompts

Five standard prompts, tested and sorted by task.

  • The usage charter

One page: which data, who reviews, how you tell people, what's banned.

  • The 30-day plan

Three uses, an owner, the allowed data, an indicator.

  • Your assistant

Set up for a real task, with the list of documents it may read.

Afterwards

Seven more hours, for those who have done the full programme and already use their assistant. On the agenda: connecting the right documents, building an agent for a repetitive task, and listing what should stay manual.

4 hours, 8 hours or 3 days: format, dates and price are set on the call.
